City Palace

A true reflection of the grandeur of Rajasthan, the City Palace is the most famous landmark of the city.

Beautifully situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, this beautiful royal palace was earlier the seat of the Maharanas where they used to live.

The best time to visit at city palace is 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Lake Pichola

One of the largest and oldest lakes in Rajasthan, Lake Pichola is spread over an area of 6.96 km². It is a manual freshwater lake built in 1362.

There is no entry fee to visit Lake Pichola it is totally free.

However, you may want to experience a boat ride which will cost: Adults- INR 400 and Children INR 200. You can plan a sunset date by this lake and have a great time with your dear partner.

Doodh Talai Musical Garden

Doodh Talai is a pond situated on the banks of Lake Pichola and is surrounded by a rock garden.

It is a beautiful tourist spot with a huge lake from where you can capture breathtaking views of the sunset in the evening.

You can enjoy an aerial tramway or cable car ride and get a bird’s eye view of the city.

Fateh Sagar Lake

Another artificially created lake in 1678 and makes a beautiful scenic view in the evening. There is no entry fee.

It is one of the most scintillating places to see in Udaipur which is located in the northwestern region of the city.

Beautiful Lake The second largest artificial lake in the city.

Sajjangarh Palace

Sajjangarh Palace is also known as Monsoon Palace. It is one of the most famous tourist places in Udaipur which is situated in Bandra Parbat.

During the reign of the Mewar kings, the palace was used to watch the progress of clouds during the monsoons.

It is also used by the kings of Mewar as their summer retreat.

Saheliyon Ki Bari

Another mesmerizing tourist garden to visit in Udaipur is Saheliyon Ki Bari.

It is a large beautiful garden developed for the young woman who accompanied the princess after her marriage to the then Maharana.

It is famous for its pleasant Lotus Pool, excellent presentation and beautiful garden.
